Re: Manual or Automatic

I always had a manual, until the EF Fairmont Ghia V8 - they only come in auto. Now I have a BA Xr8 in Auto. Given the way traffic is around Auckland I would not go back to manual for the commute.

But I want a manual for the weekend!

Re: Manual or Automatic

MANUAL!....but mines auto.... Every time I drive I want to give it a little rev at the lights or double clutch when dropping back a gear. Basically I want a manual because you can make better sounds than, BWWRRAAAAAAAAAAAA-RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (In a slightly lower tone). But then again the auto is good for just cruising... Good topic

Re: Manual or Automatic

I hate automatic cars. They literally drive me round the bend because when you change into 2nd the car jolts backwards and I go right off the road. Manual is much much better because you decide when to change gear. Like if you want to strech your cars legs you can. Always manual for me!

Manual conversion nearly complete. Just waiting on a Strange 9" assembly to come in! Manual FTW!
