Re: Manual or Automatic

"but I also love to cruise, I'll take both, lol."

ITS CALLED 5th gear or top gear depending on how many gears available
manual is not just something u go spastic in, its a driving style that alows u to change at your discrection and not some computer, plus the fuel u save..pawww

Re: Manual or Automatic

AUTO for me.
reason 1- I'm incredibly lazy and have adapted to this laziness so well that i amaze people with how lazy i am.
reason 2 - MULTI-TASKING.. eat, drink, drive, change cds, i know manual drivers can do that aswell but i can do it around a round about.
Stop and go traffic is insanely stupid even in an auto... I don't get stressed but gear changes would annoy me. I also tend to ride the clutch.

Re: Manual or Automatic

Yeah, soft-o-matic for me, but it really depends on the car - I would NEVER want my 351 ZH to be manual, but if a car's reasonably light and set up to handle, manual is the way to go.

Re: Manual or Automatic

the ONLY time i don't like a manual is when i'm stuck in traffic jams (not since i moved to geelong)
tempted to do a manual conversion to my XG ute and its not even regod yet
if its auto it must have high stall and shift kit for me to appreciate it

Re: Manual or Automatic

The Bugatti Veyron W16 quad turbo only comes with column tabs and no clutch. Double clutches in .2 seconds, can't argue with 0-300 in 13 seconds

However I drive an auto (der, the Ghia only came in auto ) so slush box for me as long as it's a good one.

Re: Manual or Automatic

Definately manual. My first car (an EA) was a manual and I loved driving it. My EF is an auto and now that I drive to work in peak hour traffic I love the auto. Ultimately I would love to have a manual again...
