In my defence - I'm after a smaller car, i don't need the size of the old beast, but i do miss the torque and engine note!
This car has a completely different dynamic to it, but from my first day of driving it, i can say i am extremely impressed with its road manners and throttle response (not to mention the 8,000rpm rev limit!).
I'll still be lurking around, and hopefully will still keep in touch with you guys occasionally!
Not my fav car at all being a fwd but at least it's less of a hair dressers machine than the old models.
That said I'm sure it's a great car to drive and if your happy then I'm happy

Ick dude what inspired you to do that... sorry man but I think that the only thing uglier than a new celica is a new mr2 or magna. But hey if you have fun its all good and im sure you be modding wui9ck with only half the fuel cash required lol.
Sillycars are for poofs. Toyotas are for poofs. Now, where's Shanus to back me up?????
(pay no attention to me if you are happy with your car but I had to say it: HAE and a Toyota pfft)

I'm very happy with the car, and you have to agree that the comparable car in the Ford stable (i.e. cougar) is like the pudgy camry-based celicas of old in their design and performance.
roy told me he saw your car being towed but didnt see the damage! That is shocking news my friend.... absolute bad luck.
The celica looks good mate.. i'm sure she'll take good care of you!
all the best - hope to see you soon! (i'll be back at gym in march, but i'll give ya a call b4 then...)
