the planet mars is gonna be damn close to earth around about ... err... now.

check out the night sky, when mars will rise in the east, and fall in the west. next to the moon, it will be the second brightest object in the sky.

Just had a look outside. Looks the same as it did for the past week or so. Ho hum...

Yes I couldn't quite tell that it was closer last night than the night before, but the naked eye is only *so* accurate

However - I want to be an astronaut!!!! No chance though, I don't think they make space suits in the size FB (Fat Bastard).

When I looked up at the sky last night at around 9pm it was very bright. Pretty damn hard to miss.
