as most of you are aware i am respraying my car, once its done i am going to be selling it, (i hope to get $9000 for it)

got home from work today and my dad had a proposition for me, he has a 1997 model jeep cherokee, perfect condition, not a single dent or scratch, its got half leather, half velour, elec windows/mirrors/sunroof, towbar, driving lights, an expensive alpine mp3 cd player, and the best part, not even 110,000kms!!

he said he would sell it to me for $13,000, and its currently insured for $20,000!

ive driven it a few times and its got heaps of power, its handeling isnt great but hey its a 4wd, and its got more than enough power compared to its handeling capabitlities,

what do u guys think? obviously its not an e-series falcon but its still an inline six!!

i need some opinions

mmmm... i don't know i heard there were problems with these jeeps or something a while back

but still if you like it then get it it seems like a good deal seeing as they usually go for around 20,000 still in the "auto super market" magazine

ive got to agree, i heard they had screwy Transmissions in them. didnt fix it till the later curvier models

never heard of trans probs with them, altho what car on the rd hast got a rooted auto trans lol

ive heard that the drivers door hinges crack and break, so u open the door and it falls off lol, im pretty sure that one has been fixed on this jeep,

derb, it already on the rd, im not putting "another" one on lol, but i can assure u if i do buy it, it will be used for off rd as well..

im still undecided.....
