It came to mind after browsing through the FPV website,is it a possibility that the GT-P will be a two door?because even though ford with the BA kiks holdens arse,they still dont have a two door to rip the monaro in half.The GT will be the four door weapon and the GT-P will be the two door king.I would appreciate it if some one can confirm weather im right or wrong cause im sittin ere gettin all wet over it...cheers

No dis-respect but Geoff also told us he drove home a Forte when he knew it was to be called an XT. He will let us know only what he wants us to know and the rest he would keep very close to his chest.

Sorry, he was a car salesman once - and he's a car salesman still - despite his assurances on no series 3 AU, no GT, look what happened. I am prepared to believe that anything is believable including a two-door.

I'm not being disrespectful, he just is doing his job of "selling" BA the best way he sees fit to do it - and that may mean telling porky pies in order to keep ahead of the game.

If there is a two door it will probably be offered in GT and GT-P specs - XA two doors were offered in four trim versions but we won't see that these days because it's too expensive to do.

Ford doesnt have a 2 door??? Have you counted the number of doors on a Mustang? Ok so Mustang doesnt say Falcon on the back, but to me as a performance car enthusiast, that appeals to me more than 4 door cut-down to 2 doors.... I would love a Mustang if I could afford one......Geoff, I think they are a great car, just a tad over-priced.

GT will be XR8 based.
GT-P will be Fairmont based.
