Oh guys I am so P'd off right now words cannot explain,
as you gather by my sig i got an XR8 blood orange, and personalised plates, hence my forum nick name.

Anyways, today between 5-9pm my car was egged, this really gets me mad coz not only was it your average egging, but they were piffed hard enough to cause major damage, 3 of the many eggs thrown have made huge scratch marks on there impact and I AM NOT HAPPY JAN,

the rest i washed off and will see tomorrow in daylight how bad condition the paintwork is in

I dont have any enemies, as i have personalised plates i dont do anything foolish as its easy to recognise me. I dont drag people, nor do i endanger lives when having fun in the car.

Where i stand now is what should i do, can i get sections painted, or is it better to respray the whole driver side???

any suggestive pricing regions for repair? or what would you guys do, or have any of yous had this happen to you.

Egg is acidic, how quickly did you remove it?

I would cut & polish the paint asap

You wont see the full extent of the damage for months.

I dare say its a group of kids..

I am in the area often during the week, willdeff keep an eye open for and groups or signs of other damage to cars in the same maner to try to track them down.

Report it to the cops and get a report, see what damage is done and ring your insurance company just in case it needs paint work!

I have actually already seen an egged ford some years ago and heard similar stories from ford owners on my time at this forum etc.

Interestingly...before I used to own a falcon I owned a commodore and spent time at equivalent holden forums. During my time there I NEVER heard about a holden being egged or damaged on purpose. However, sadly enough the attitude some holden drivers had was 'I'll trash a ford if I see it'.

It just goes to show that holdens these days are attracting a certain quality of person.....a true yobbo that they will go out and rip on other cars they don't like...

Anyways, I guess I would just get that off my mind :)

Hope your car is ok, if the stain is pretty light then the good ol kitten cut and polish will help a lot. But chips are yours until a respray I guess...

Some people just don't have any respect for others property. I wish you luck in getting rid of the marks. My baby was "keyed" once for no reason, had a shopping trolley rammed into the front in an open spot....so I know how it feels.
