Mecum Auto Auctions

Does anyone watch these auctions on TV? Some of those old vehicles go for BIG bucks.

I'm still looking for my "reasonably priced" 1960 Chevrolet Impala. No luck yet.

Like some older person who's had and drove the car for years, and are hoping they could get 3 or 4 hundred bucks for it since its so old. But that won't happen. And to be honest if it did, I would probably tell them that its worth much more than that. I guess I believe in Karma.

Re: Mecum Auto Auctions

I would love to find a reasonably priced 69 Mustang. It was my first mustang, I wrapped it around a tree when I was 16 1/2. It had the big 200 CI motor. Loved it. I would love to find one with at 429 in it, oh for around $10K fully restored, as long as I am dreaming might as well have the owner give it to me, just like my dad who gave me that one.

1969 Mustang? That's all you had to mention to get me whining again. lol. My mom had one when I was a kid. When I became a teenager she gave it to me. Being young and stupid, I sold it for 50 bucks. I know, stupid huh? I regret like hell doing that. It had the 250 straight 6 in her and somewhere around 80k on the speedometer.
