I went there today and it isn't that good.
If anyone is thinking of going don't waste your money!
The DJR BA wasn't even there instead they had the AU.
I spoke to Steven Johnson (He has lost alot of weight) and he said that they didn't bring down the BA to Melbourne because they would lose 1 week of testing and development time.
I saw Paul Weel at the Holden/HSV stand which confirms that he will be driving for the darkside.
I went tonight and it was a bit underdone. Put it this way, I wouldn't travel hundreds of K's or break any hot dates especially to go to it.
There were some good things there. The Harrop Engineering stand was interesting from a technical viewpoint, the karting association, the Formula Vee and historics crowd were there too. In terms of information resources for beginning in motorsport it was well represented.
Representation from Ford was pretty average, just DJR and Allan Moffat was there flogging memorabillia and displaying his Mustang (One VERY HORNY looking car).
There were other historic cars there as well. Jack Brabham's '66 car, Bob Jane's Camaro (Another very sexy car) and an XAGT Phase 4.
As I said, it was a bit underdone but remember, it is an inaugural event which hopefully will become bigger and better next year.
