Melbourne SE suburbs

Just to let people know , a police blitz on speeding and other driving offences is on throughout this weekend from Moorabbin to Mordialloc. 26 cars ( marked and unmarked ) are out and about booking people like there is no tomorrow .

Too true XA.

Its as simple as that...look after it and dont be stupid, you wont have a problem.

And if you do get booked for something you knew was illegal, dont come on here and sook about it

Re: Melbourne SE suburbs

Hope they get a few more of those deathtraps off the road. I have no problems with legit blitz's. At lease they are serious about safety rather than just revenue!

Cheers,

Re: Melbourne SE suburbs

too true. Given Mordi area has a street racing thing going on it would serve everyone to stay away for a while.. which is what they want. As for traffic infringements, give them no reason

Re: Melbourne SE suburbs

I've noticed a higher than normal Police presence in the Doncaster - Bayswater area the last week or so.

They were doing Doncaster Rd last night, they'd pulled in a Riced Lancer and as I went past an Ultra low and loud VL Calais that had wanted to drag me at the previous set of lights.

Couldn't help but smile to myself as they would've heard this guy coming, and by the time he came over the crest and saw them he would've been getting close to Light Speed (tm)

I'm happy, I'd rather see 10 patrol cars on the road than one Kodak coppa on the side of the road. IMO, a copper in your rear view mirror is one of the best road safety devices available.

So very true...I drive for a living (Insert free plug-Toll Parceline...for all your next day delivery needs ) and I have no problem what so ever with having the police on the road with me...my car is legal...I do legal speeds and obey (most) traffic laws...so I have no worries.

I want an AU XR8!!

It's fun to be intelligent...it's just people won't pay to see it...

If opportunity doesn't come knocking...then make a door!

A visual presence is the best way to keep the idiots on a short leash.
