Mercury Messenger - any thoughts ??

With its "stacked element theme" of headlights above the grille, the Messenger delivers what Lincoln Mercury design director Gerry McGovern calls "taut, dynamic surfaces."

It isn't on any production plans, but it provides direction for a brand that is torn between its big, old Grand Marquis and the now-gone, sporty Cougar.

franky in recent times 99% of all concept vehicles appear to be the result of taking non prescription drugs... this has got to be one of the nicer ones though !!!

I love it. Would love to see it go into production for the Mercury brand.

Reminds me of the Pinninfarina Focus concept from a few years ago..

The side on pick reminds me of the legendary Lancia Stratos.

I love it, very nice and sporty lines,
The exhaust looks good and very subtle.
Interior is a little to "future clean" style but still nice.
Also love the mustang style sides. Over all it's a nice clean looking car.

One of the few of Fords concept cars of late which I don't really like. To me it looks too bitsi but the overall shape reminds me of an old Italian car. I don't like the interior either especially the colour

I can't say that I'm really fussed with the styling of this concept, the front looks like a Saturn and the ride hight is too high.

For me the side profile looks the best although I'd prefer different styled wheels with less spokes.

The interior is a bit of a let down aesthetically wise - nothing really flows and it has a Fisher-Price look about some of the controls.

The back is nice, but the front is awful. Where are the lights? Are they lose slotted things?
