Thumbs down Microsoft At It Again

I download IE6 and all ancillaries including Media Player 7.1. When it goes to install it won't load up MP7.1 for some reason.

So, restart and go back only to find the entire 10Mb of MP7.1 was a waste and now cannot load it at all.

THEN, I instantly get told a critical update applies to IE6 worth around 2.5Mb. This is crazy. I'm on a 56k line and it doesn't happen in a few minutes.......

Very frustrating!

They're not bad are they AP, and to top it off, they found gaping holes in the security related side of IE6 within a day of it's release. I'm guessing that's what the update is.
Must not have very good beta testers or something.
Russell.

Find Windows update in your start menu EF, and it should d/l what you need, should be under "critical updates"
