Afternoon all.

Since my new office sits right next to Pickles Auctions in Newcastle, I can provide a weekly update of any and all good pieces of equipment (XR's etc!) that is coming onto the floor. It is generally pretty quiet for good cars, mostly fleet poverty packs, but occasionally a nice one comes along.

Anyhow, today we got in 2 black AU XR8's, both manual!! One is a series 1 revised model, the other a 200kW series 2. I am certain they will go for a song as well.

If anyone is interested, I'll go track them down and grab some vital details and a "Mr Sparkle Special" review.

ACT uses manual chasers while I also saw a silver VX SS unmarked Vic chaser in Yae in June. Would have taken a photo but the guy driveing it was a complete tosser.

Okay - I made a mistake.

Enfield Motor Group sell the NSW cop cars which are all autos. Pickles do have the access to the ACT cop cars which are mainly manual.

As I have said before on FF, if you want the pick of the auction trade in Fords you go to Fowles who are the vendors for a lot of the Ford Exec cars etc.
