Just spotted across the road form my work a nice looking 'Lane
that I havn't heard of with Vic plates (im in WA) and some white writing on the back window.
Its a AU shape, but has BA style blacked out headlights, front windscreen is squared off like a BA, rear windows I think is AU and a chrome strip between the taillights with MILLENIUM stenciled on.
I could be wrong and just havn't noticed AU 'Lane details in the past, might have to find one to compare.
Externally it can be recognised by its unique headlights that feature a unique 'smoked quartz' surround. Tickford fitted 17" five-spoke alloy wheels fitted with P225/50 R17 tyres and 'Millennium' badging.
Ford globally released many models in 2000 with the Millenium tag.
It would have done a Millenium Falcon too but a legal search found that one George Lucas (Star Wars) still had the copyright over that name. He took out a 25 year copyright on the name in 1976 (movie first released in 1977) meaning that it would expire and the name would be up for grabs in 2001.
The new millenium didn't start until 2001, so Ford could have released a Millenium Falcon some time in 2001. But hey, some people think 2000 was the first year in the millenium, so what do I know? The fact that you start counting at 1 and not 0 sort of hints strongly that 2001 is the first year in this millenium.
Moot point really, as the opportunity has obviously since passed - perhaps they could do it in 3001?

Surely it's not the "1" in 2001 that hints to a millenium, morelikely it would be the "2". I think that's why the millenium started in 2000. As in 1 millenium, 2 millenium, 3 millenium blah blah blah.
Anyways........nice looking car, the front looks better than the fairlane we all know IMO.

I think a 30mm lowering would do it quite nicely looking at that piccie.
