Just for everyone's educational sake...

mIRC is the client you use to connect to IRC. mIRC is not what you are connecting to. mIRC is to IRC, what Internet Explorer and Netscape are to the Web.

I use ircII to connect - Homer, epic, BitchX, etc all are IRC clients as well. mIRC just happens to be the most popular windows version.

Sorry, just drives me nuts - I was using IRC before mIRC existed.
