is it just me gettoing old and cranky, or do other people find the mitsubishi ads REALLY ANNOYING????

just because mitsubishis ad agancy get a load of halfwits, dress them up half trendy and make them sing to the most irritating tunes around, is this supposed to make me want one? am i supposed to want to be like one of these morons and therefore buy one of their cars? should i sing like a twat when i drive my own car, or is that saved for lancer drivers?

IMO, 'lifestyle' advertising is the most blatant crap. "the product is no good, so lets flog an image". i hope those responsible for these adverts get nasty social diseases.

Most of their adds are from overseas, the Lancer ones are and the pajero ones are also. As for the Magna ones well the adds best represent the cars dont they !

Don't let it get to you! The only reason they are singing is to hide all the clunking noises coming from the car.

There wouldn't be much else to sing about driving a Mitsubishi.

actually i agree with u rsgerry. after hearing the ads for so long i start to hate the song. its the same when kmart had that tune for ages (cannot remember the name, was old song) after that I just couldn't stand the tune on the radio!! The main problem is the ad maybe ok once or twice but they go overkill and show it shit load of times in 1 hr!!

The pajero ad is pretty cool i reckon. The one with Ali talking himself up to the sight of the pajero climbing snowy mountains.

Correction, most of their ads are made in Australia for overseas! they even imported LHD cars for the shoot, and that mitsub yankey coupe.

The ad is only irritating because you don't like mitsubs. Likewise I have a smiliar problem with the Holden ads, and their constant "in your face" marketing style, but so what, might as well complain aout the tampon ads while we're at it.

I hate the mitsi adds, how dare they wreck good songs?
On another note, whats withe the new camry's "the more you see it the more you want it" campain? The add is clever with guy jumping and doing wierd and idiotic thinsg to see the camry, but really, i find with the camry "the more i see se it the more i definatly DONT want it!"

I got so sick of the Kmart add I nearly smashed the TV once. Every time I saw that add it reminded me NOT to go to Kmart.

Same with that Mitsubishi add now. They got a few nice chicks I must admit, but the concept of retards singing in the car like wankers doesn't do much for me. The Ford add on the other hand...

I must admit I really loved those two Pajero adds though which featured Mohammad Ali.
