Seems like HSV invented a trend for aftermarket companies to call themselves 3 acronims ending with 'V' (for vehicles). eg. CSV, ASV. Ford only used 'Performance' as 'Special' was used already by HSV.

But that all said and done, give it time and no one will care, including myself. Let their products speak for themselves.

As long as people associate FPV to Ford as the HSV is too Holden, who really cares.....

As said before, the name Tickford was not always associated to Ford.
