I don't think so mate, remember the mustang?. Ford Australia started selling them here, basically no-one brought them.
There's no such demand for a ute/truck like that here.
The typical Aussie Bloke would rather have something like a pursuit than an overpriced truck.
Just remember that Ford will soon have there own 4WD Falcon based ute which could have a performance version produced.

isnt that the same thing as on Fast and the Furious? nice looking truck...Id say Ford could only sell them in limited numbers over here...which would be far outweighed by the costs on importing and converting them to RHD

There's a RHD converted F150 Lightning Harley Davidson edition running around Newcastle at the moment. I saw it last week.

There's also what looks like a white Standard Duty F250 getting around with a fancy aftermarket grille, which is basically an F150 shape. It could be an F150, but I thought it had an extended tray, which maked me think it was an F250.

It's the F250 Super Duty that's sold in Australia, sharing it's shape with the F350.
