Hey Guys.
I'm after a new Prepaid Mobile (preferably not with telstra) and will only have around $230.
I've had a quick look around and the Nokia 3315 looks like it could be ok (all my mates have them) and is only $159 at DSE with Optus http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.st...uct/View/E2568
It seems like a bargin, but seems to be getting a bit outdated. I don't really care what brand phone I end up with (kinda wanted nokia because of accessories, but dosnt matter to much)
Then there's the Motorola E360 http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.st...uct/View/E1341
It has a colour screen, comes with $100 worth of calls, and is only $199!!, the only downside is it's with telstra, but for this price I guess I could live with it.
What do you guys/gals think?, Any opinions or recommendations?.
Any Perth people know of a shop in Morley with a good range of mobiles?.
Cheers
Mason.
(Looks like I'm edging towards the E360)
i wouldnt go optus cos they have higher connection cost than telstra its like 40c to 25c which adds up in the end, but read the fineprint cos it may have changed

Blimey, that E360 ain't bad! Wish we could get it over here, lowest priced colour phone is around $400.
I'd take it over the Nokia - compare them size and weight wise! Unsure about the whole Telstra thing though, cos we don't have it... Try to find somewhere that just sells the phone and you buy any card, like I did when I bought my phone in Oz...

Yea it's a gift at the price DSE sell it for. I saw it at another online store for $380 or similar (can't quite remember the exact price), so I think I'll be paying DSE a visit in the not to distant future. Motorola E360 it is.
Unless anyone has any other phones they would recommend?.
Cheers

I only look at size, weight and cost really - I'm not into spending big bucks on a phone that does stuff I'll never need, or not want to pay for (Vodafone Live! for example).
If I was to buy a phone right now, it would be an Alcatel 511. Incredibly tiny, almost weightless, does everything I want, and cheap!
I have a CB radio best reception out where I live. Don't know why they got rid of analogue mobiles it had the best reception out here and everywhere else. My useless Ericsson 82 something or another is only good around Maitland way and thats on Telstra!
