Would'nt it be great to have a model of the AU 11 XR 8 (and others of the XR series), all I can find are V8 Supercars, XW and XY GTHO's and XA/XB GT Coupes.
If you go to the Biante web site there is a "wish" link and if enough guys asked they may look into making something
Yep, I have one - it's a silver AU1 XR8 with the optional 17's. The company that made these AU models, (including Futura and T-Series), is Paradise Garage. You used to be able to get them at Toyworld!

Clicky clicky here for previous ride! I still miss her!
I have a Silver AU T-Series mk1, and they did an XR8 in road colours and police colours.
The Futura was an EF model, not an AU.

Yes, you are right! They made them in green and red IIRC. They were indeed 1:43, and I have yet to see a 1:18 roadgoing XR8 model of any series yet!

They were made by Paradise Garage, I think they were actually AUI. They did the T-Series cars as well. THere are some in stock at my local Ford dealer. I have sent an e-mail to Biante requesting 1:18 Ba XR6T in Venom Red with 18" alloys, no response as yet....

You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen. It said, 'Parking Fine.'So that was nice.
Its about time we get to see some decent Ford Models, theres so many of the HSV's and monaro's but none of the newer ford performance cars. i'd buy 10!

Well, with the DJR press release stating that their Konica AU will sport DJR and Biante sponsorship, and Biante 'hinting' in the past (read pre BA release) that different blue oval products are coming, I'd say our prayers in both 1:18 and 1:43 may soon be answered.
Cheers
Jason

I'll have to get on and vote for an AU3 XR6 VCT. I've got enough narooma blue touch up to airbrush a couple of 1/18 scales. Don't like my chances of them doing a 6 though.
