now that ive finally finished paying off the GT im looking at updating my daily driver 5L eb fairmont for something with less km's and a 5speed. I would like an ED Sprint but i am also thinking that what i pay for a sprint could by me a nice eb xr8 with money to spend on say.... a blower! Taking into consideration resale values, performance etc. what are your opinions on what to do? P.S. anyone looking for a cheap 5L fairmont?
My dad has an EB XR8 for sale.... already worked off its tits, goes WAY WAY harder than a sprint, 5 speed 2, 150, 000km. if ur interested, let me know, ill giv u some more details and ph. number. cheers
I would say the Sprint but if you came across an XR8 that had mod's then why not,It's just finding a nice Sprint is a hard thing these day's as there wern't alot made, manual's as well, good luck.

The Sprint; it's one of the best Ford icons IMO. Plus, if you're concerned about resale value, the Sprint will hold its value quite high I would think...

The Sprint is a decent choice because it is rare, but performance wise, if you bought a standard XR8 and spent the extra you would have spent on the sprint improving it, you will end up with a much better performance package. I would be proud to own a Sprint, but these days 200kw although more than anyone needs isn't that impressive these days. Very hard choice!
