True Story:

1965...Christmas Morning...6:30am...

Half dazed, from waiting up till 1:00am for that Fat man in a Red Suit to show up with my new G.I. Joe. I heard my Mommy Screaming up stairs, that Santa had come.

Running down stairs with my Brother, and falling on my face, we stumble to the Christmas tree...tearing into the presents.

After about Hour, I ran over to the Fireplace, where we had sat out some Milk, and Cookies for Santa. Only to discover that the glass of Milk was gone, and some of the cookies had been eaten.

I then notice that instead Milk there was a Glass of Brown stuff in it. Next to it was Bottle...Label "Jack Daniels"...
I asked Mommy..."Mommy Why did Santa Dip the Cookies in the Jack Daniels"??

OMG...My Mother Broke out into a uncontrollable Laughter for over 10 minutes. Tears running down her face. I thought she may have lost her MIND!!

She looked at me and Calmly said: " Santa needed something a little Stronger to make it through the Night"!!, And he just had enough Milk for the Night.

So a New Tradition started at our house...LOL...instead of Milk and Cookies...we would put out Jack Daniels, and Cookies...

My Brother and I have carried this tradition on for our family as well.

To Bad Santa never got to enjoy that glass of "Jack"...LOL

Good true story , Sterling Six , brought back pleasant memories of when I was a child . We continued the tradition with our kids , apart from the Jack Daniels ! We used to add a carrot for Rudolph to sustain him through a busy night .
