So NZ and South Africa don't count? The development codes for the MY04/5 car suggest an export program. Here's hoping though.

I don't think I want to see our(aussie) Falcons all over the world, we have something quite unique. The odd export's ok, but to know that they sell falcons in America, Canada, UK(4 cyl versions, lol) would make them boring. Im sick of seeing VT's everywhere in the country, imagine seeing Falcons all around the world.

I think it would be a great idea to export large quantities of Falcons o/s. The only place they are exported to is NZ. Exports to South Africa stopped due to poor sales of EF or EL Falcon.

The US would most likely accept the Falcon quite easily I think, especially assuming the next all new Falcon wil most likely share platforms with the Mustang.

I would like to see them exported as a niche product. I doubt the world would see the Falcon as all conquoring, its a nice large rwd cheap car.

Holden has sold about 100 commodores in South africa so far, they are trying to build the chevy name over there again.

For exports I would say:
South Africa : 500-5000 per year
uk : 100-2000 per year (luxury and sport models only)
Middle east : 1000-10,000 per year

yes ,i've seen their website few months ago,it had thethe xr6 and fairmont, but i don't think they sell that much ,comparing to the middle east for example.chev name is a quite big one there and i'm sure if holden left it's name on it it wouldn't sell anything.

by the way, did anyone went to the oran park today??the utes were wonderful, i think i was the only ford fan there ,whenever damien white or donaher overtakes someone,i couldn't hide my happiness and everybody there were holden fans!scary.

and one of the gts's blew it's engine :)seriously, white fumes coming from the exhaust and dropping backwards,so sweet:).
ford got 2/3 races but trust me ,they were way faster than the ss,same engines,same gearbox,but still ford are beauties.
sorry for getting off the subject but i was so proud of ford today.
