Anybody got actual sales figures on the Monaro?
My brother in law is a mad keen dark side supporter (just bought a 5.7 international VY wagon) and each time I talk to him he carries on about the munro selling like hot cakes.
Is this for real or not?
I need some facts please

Monaro sales went down during the VY release, because they needed more room to make the Commodore, so they reduced the size of the Monaro line. Thats all i know.

yearly sales to end of november 2002 3998 / 2001 55

final sales figures will be out next week. Id guess around the 330-380 mark maybe a little more for december

I think the sales are going according to plan huge response and a tapering off

Whatever the figures are, its killing the Mustang in the sales department.... I am yet to see one Mustang on the road.... I see a Monaro every day. Not sure if they are equivelants of each other, closest I could think of, but an area Ford are not looking brilliant...

i think you'll find we dont sell the mustang in australia anymore. It was a sales flop!! Any stock the dealers have is old stuff from previous years. it was very expensive for tickford to do and not sell. Our cars were better for NVH and the like than the USA's as we fitted more sound deadening and stuff. Fun to drive though!!!

yep they cost around 90 grand im told. Why doesnt ford Bring at a 2 Door Falcon and really give holden a run for their bucks?
