In the mood for 1000 horsepower..
1977 Ford F-150. I have 2 Options available to me. I have a 351W, and I have a buddy that's willing to give me a 460ci. Now I've never worked with a big block, but people tell me "There's no replacement for displacement." In a couple of my earlier builds, the 351W bored to 398ci was able to pump out 1378hp witha 28psi boost turbocharger, and with pretty much the exact motor only supercharged we were able to tag out 1272hp. These motors are both in 2001 mustangs at the moment, but I'm looking to slam some serious horse in my 1977 Pick-up. I know that I can build the 351w, but I have no idea about the 460??? Looking for some spech pages, or something that tells me durations, lifts, valve sizes, bore, stroke, etc of the 460ci so I know where to begin. So far no luck. Not even sure the 460 can push that kind of raw horse. Any help at this point, even educated opinion would be greatly apreciated..
