Which state do you think is the most bent in your country. Kickbacks, slush funds, mates rates, giving 'a' hand etc, leveling the scales, scratch my back etc....

I have only lived in Melbourne so I don't know what the rest of the states are like....but i think the Fed Gov is as corrupt as they come...Tony Abbott and Peter Costello are the main players...Costello has a face that you could never trust!!

As for the Federal Govt- absolute power corrupts absolutely. It is amazing how many Lib ministers have been saved by Johhny Howard, the most cunning, devious and perhaps sinsiter politician to roam the vacuum of aussie politics.

Now now, don't be cynical. Face it- no matter who is in power someone will be complaining. I dont know what exactly you could blame the fed liberals for thats been out of hand - maybe the GST - but no one seems to care that much - of course there are AWAs and the like.

Id be a bit worred of the minorities that have undermineded labour.

I voted VIC but mainly because I judge corrupt to be "taking actions against the public interests for the sake of another agenda" obviously by this I mean the Nazi regieme on road users over there.
As for federal Gov. Na I think little Johnny's done a bloody good job so far. He's done many things I thought were a stupid idea at the time but he's come through on them. Considering Aus Economy has ridden through 2 major Asian economic callapses and the state of the world wide markets the last year I'm glad I invested in Aus dollars thats for sure.
