Yesterday I went to the eye and ear hospital in Melbourne, parking is crap all the parking meters around there last 1 hour, and when you go to the hospital you wait a minimum of 2 hours.
close by there is a security parking run by a company I think there called Wilson parking, they charge for 2 to 3 hours $18.00 for hospital customers..
If you are unlucky and stay longer they have a maximum charge of $28.00 ...lol...
I once did a course in the city and parked at Secure Parking at Wynyard. One time it cost about $45 for the one day (about 8:45 Am - 5:00 PM). I was shocked but since it was for work they paid...

Yeah I used to work at Secure Parking. In Adelaide it was $7.50 for 12 hours, just a year ago. I always heard how it was about $50 for the same thing in Sydney, I dunno how they can get away with it, its criminal...
Beached whales get to park at the beach for free.....
I pay $8 per day to park in town for work and $9 on Fridays. Wilson parking is also shocking here in Adelaide, and they charge a fortune to park at the hospitals.... Grrrrrr.
Ive paid much more than that in Sydney though.

Yep Wynyard would top the list, it maxes out at $49.50 now and no way the XR is going anywhere they want to park your car. Park at one of the nearby Hotels they wont be any dearer and you can park it yourself (preferably with a column between you and the other guys door).
Sydney parking is a nightmare but it does help to have prox card for a dozen or so carparks and loading docks, a well earned perk of the job.
And that well known highwayman Carr is seriously proposing a $20+ fee for driving in the CBD let alone parking.
State Labour has screwed public transport so there is no practical way for a trip into the city with the mass unwashed on the rail system. So one to two hours of gridlock on the freeway is the only practical way in.
CBD avoid it like the plague or make sure you've got the time and parking costs included on your invoice.
its cheaper to get a parking ticket in sydney than to park in the city all day,LOL
i went to my hospital last week to drop of xrays , i parked in a secure lot and was only 7 mins in / out. i had to pay $ 4.00 thats not to bad for 0- 2 hrs, if its more than 12 $ per hour i get a taxi .
i ofetn wonder about buying a scooter , but usually when a piece of metal flys into my eye its when ive driven the pick up.
i wonder if i could let a tyre down and get free roadside ass to tow me home ...its free
Rialto carpark in Melbourne. So tight getting something the size of laser down their is hard enough let alone a falcon.
$54 (inc GST) for the day.
