Motor confirms new I6 engine spec!

Busted!

So all the pics currently dished out offically have, in terms of badges, been pretty light. We've seen the obligatory blue oval badge, a 'futura' badge on the rear of the silver BArra, and a Ghia badge on the front guard on the BA Fairmont. The XRs were badgeless (other than the blue oval).

Take your copy of Motor, turn to page 122, and look at the badge on the guard of the car with it's door open, demonstrating the adjustable pedals with a yellow tron female.

"24V DOHC"

Well spotted Venom XR

But wait, is that really a BA Falcon?
Do the creases in the front doors and front guard look like that?
Where is the side repeater light?

Sadly, I don't think so, and what's wire girl doing driving on that side of the car?

Damn Raptor, you could have let that go on for a bit longer! :s3

Another clue would have been that Ford haven't released interior pics yet, and as you said, it's LHD.

Sorry folks, Ford aren't that silly. You'll have to wait for the official stuff.

I have just brought the mag back to my desk after a run into town. I was about to mention that they were also the first interior pics of Barra when I became suspicious. Sorry to spoil your fun but out to achieve FF fame for myself, Hahahaha.

I saw a 4.0 litre dual VCT engine under the bonnet of a BA last week when I was out there. Only problem is I can't remember what model it was. I think it was the Ghia but not sure. Also had a peak under the Turbo XR bonnet....cosy but nice setup.

Guilty as charged. :s3

In my defense however, there is a 24V DOHC badge on the guard of the car used to demonstrate the electronically adjustable pedals.

Here's the FF challenge for the day - what car is it?!
