This month I noticed the the accleration times of most of the cars were down quite a bit. The Corvette (which is actually 257kw not 302 kw which MOTOR says) was the only car to get under 6 second 0-100 at 5.99 while the GTS and Corsa were about a 20th behind.

Also the times for the Nissan 200SX and Honda S2000 were higher than they have been before with the S2000 running in a very slow 7.07 0-100km/h.

i think the times were vomit i ran 14.4 on the gto with 700kms on the dial.

didnt they say the vette had mods to take it to 300kw ?

You can probably blame wet weather for that.

Don't forget that just a few years ago, Wheels and Motor were covering an identical market. But I understand you're referring to 0-100 times (Wheels' procedure is different) so yeah...

Yeah mate. Modded moter. They said they'd compare it to the GTS anyways due to mods.

Remember the Vette only weighs 1456kg compared to 1680 for the GTS and 1660 for the CSV. Realy the Vette should be getting into the low 13's if it truly had 300kws.

it's been ages since I read any crap from Wheels or Motor. The Vette can get 12 seconds actually, it's very light and fast. I think the z06 is 400HP~300KW stock????

What do you mean FM?? We get 98 RON fuel here, wheras in the
US, the highest I've seen was 93 RON....and they call that premium. I may have missed something or does the US have a different scale of octane rating than we do??
