I think this line says alot!
Fighting power with power is the only way forward for XR8, and even being a few cubes lighter than Holdens 5.7 V8 wont bother the XR8, not even when the 5.4 litre V8s payload of 260kw {estimated}and 500nm at 4,250rpm is unloaded in a hurry. Traction control of course is part of Fords throttle by wire technoligy, but expect 0-100kmh excitment in the high 5 sec range and 400m in less than 14 sec with the standard BTR lsd 3.23:1 differential and tremec T45 five speed manual gearbox from the Mustang.
