Well my Dec issue of MOTOR magazine has arrived this morning only a week after it was on show at the newsagents.
Why the fcuk am I subscribing when it is ALWAYS late?
I subscribe to other magazines some from overseas and they are always here a day or so (weeks in the case of the yank ones) before the newsagents.
C'mon "The Captain" help, please, pretty please....
Does anyone else subscribe to MOTOR?

Let him that hath understanding count the number of the BEAST:
for it is the number of a F6 Typhoon; and its number is 0217.
Yeah I subscribe.. I got my yesterday... Friggin' annoying it is. I have to purposely stay away from all the convo on FF in regards to Ford this and Turbo that so I don't spoil 50% of the magazine.
Subscriptions should be BEFORE they get to the shelves.

45,000km service coming up - and i'll be asking for a sizable list of fixes:
* Gearbox (3rd time)
* Steering click (5th time)
* Brake Shudder (2nd time, and has the applied "Fix")
* etc...
Hi. That sucks, I've heard of that problem before. I buy it at the newsagent next to where I work and sometimes they have it a day or even two days earlier than its edition date.... If it is due out on the Wednesday, I get it on the Tuesday or even Monday. It's easier than waiting around for it anyway.
My Dad subscribes to Wheels and that seems to be ok. He gets that pretty quick.
Do your subscription get delivered from MOTOR via your newsagent? I know some who do this and some are better than others. I know my Dad's newsagent gets his subscription to him pretty quick because they get it quickly. Just a thought.

Yeah it comes in via a newsagent. The problem is my newsagent is about 2km away and the morning newpaper rounds are done by car, thus magazines can't be done at the same time.
Oh well... might be subscribing to street fords next time :) and then occasionally pick up motor magazine at the supermarket.

i use to subscribe but found no point. can get it from the newsagent a few days earlier and don't have to waste my money on the editions i don't want.
Most months i'd read it in the newsagent before i had got it in the mail anyway
I stopped subscribing for that very reason. I now get it every month, smack on the day that it is due out (and if I'm lucky, the night before!).

Clicky clicky here for previous ride! I still miss her!
I'm subscribed to Street Machine and always get it earlier then newsagent. As far as Motor Magazine, i only buy it when i finish street machine too early and im bored.
Yes i agree Flappist.
The reason it has been late is that due to them being Cheap ass publishers, and wanting to save on postage.
What happens now is that yoru local newsagent dgets all the subs in their delivery and subcontracts the mailbox drops.
How do i know this, i found out about 8 months ago when after two issues going missing i went in to see what was going on.
i have also found issues under the car, thrown in the garden and left in the ran.
The main reason i still subscribe, is i did so before the GST increase, and still pay teh PRE GST, price, so its not realy worth me unsubscribing.
The best thing you can do is go see what newsagent handles your sub's and get them not to deliver it, and you pick it up from them.
Thats what i do, and io have had mine for a week.
I with yoou flappist. It was that late that I thought my subscription had run out so I went out and bought the latest issue only to have one delivered the next day.
Ring ACP Action and complain. This was happening to me every issue, a week late every issue. So I rang up, then they got the subscription going through the newsagent, and made mine a priority.
