question

The website http://www.sydneymotorshow.com.au states the Falcon GT will be featured at the Sydney motorshow.

I've previously asked this question but there does not seem to be a consensus answer.

Question?

. will the real GT be featured?
. will specifications be released at the show (engine etc).

I'm asking because I made quite an effort to go the the "Holden/Ford" show recently, which included the BA Falcon "release" in the advertised schedule, however the "release" turned out to be less than expected.

So as a "feature" car and advertised drawcard for the Sydney motorshow, are we going to be disappointed?

thanks.

Falcon GT
From the Sydney Motor Show
09sep02

With a history as long as Conrod Straight, Fordís new GT represents a performance ethos that goes beyond the standard Australian-built sports car.

Its aggressive looks and powerful V8 engine are balanced by developments to the chassis, improvements to the driveline, and bigger and better brakes.
The combination of all these elements will give the driver a true sense of what high-performance cars are all about - power, handling, stopping power, looks, and street cred.

Daily Telegraph
upon reading the article, it doesn't seem as though there is any mention of the car actually being at the show...

But Wait, there's more....
From another article on the site...

Quote:
The blue oval is pulling out all stops to ensure the new range wins over the huge motor show crowds. Ford telegraphed at least one of its punches when it announced that it will unveil a modern-day Falcon GT at the show.

So far weíve seen only an artistís sketch of the super-Falcon, so there will be much interest on opening day when the covers come off.
hmmm interesting....
