A while ago there was a topic about good sites to download MP3's and morpheus was brought up. Is it www.morpheus.com or something else as i went to that site and it doesn't look like free MP3's to me.
Anyone know?

I think Morpheus and KaZaA were effectively put out of businesss a couple of weeks back by way of some judge's ruling.
mind you ,KaZaa's web site still has the d/l program available.whether it's been changed is a different thing.

You can download Morpheus from www.musiccity.com. It was Napster that was clobbered a while back.

Not bad prog's these. Can find anything you want.
I think Morpheus, KaZaA, and WinMX use the same "engine".
Just a warning. I heard that by installing some of the extra features you can leave yourself open to being "hacked". Don't know how true it is but I'd only install the bare essentials.
Yeah 3Toed, Napster was taken out a while ago, but the powers that be are now going after these programs. But like they said, once someone has the program(s), you can't stop anyone finding files. All the authorities can do is close down the web sites, I think a court battle is still underway.
