mad Mr Flint, about that AV XR......

It must have an optional 5.4 to combat the 5.7 ss, just offering 4.6 wont cut it. Better to have 2 V8 options, and if you won't do 2, just offer the 5.4 sohc for XR's, and 5.4 alloy DOHC's for T series and / or GT / HO.

And geoff or dave, if you are reading this, ditch that crappy cockroach concept taurus theme and stick to the original Audi euro theme for AV - australian tastes in car design lean more to europe than the US - this is proven fact . I almost chucked up my dinner as I was reading the latest wheels.

You only have to look at how the Taurus did the big swan flop dive here.

I suggest also that you consult with the consuming public and get feedback before you decide on a design, Im sure this forum has willing participants eager to further the Ford cause, myself included.

Imagine how many jobs would have been saved if this was done prior to AU.......

How many v8 options does Holden have? One..
It's gotta be Alloy 5.4 DOHC or bust. Sure have it in different guises but it's gotta be 5.4Ltrs..
If we had a 5750cc modular I'd say use that sucker.. unfortunately we don't so 5.4's just gunna have to do..
