Thumbs down MS Word's dictionary absolutely sucks! Any Australian version?!?!?

I'm sick and tired of all these US words that come up everytime I spell check with MS Word. Is there an Australian version of the dictionary available??

give this a go....

I'm not sure if this will work on your version of word, ( I have word 2000) but give it a go...
Under the tools menu (alt+t), select options, then click on the 'spelling and grammar tab across the top of the pop-up.
There should be a 'custom dictionary' option on this screen, select 'custom.dic' from here...

see if that works.....

hey thanks for this man. it did work.
hopefully it'll stop coming up with words that have a "z" instead of an "s" eg. realise instead of realize! thanks again.

You might also want to have a look at your regional settings.

You get their from Start, Settings, Control Panel, Regional Settings.

cheers
