I was out there at Queensland Raceway yesterday and wow!. I had always meant to get to this event but seemed to miss it each year. You might as well of called it 80% Ford, Muscle Car Shootout, which was great. The two cars that stood out for me, the "Serious" GT40, which made the other GT40's and Shelby's look silly and "The Mustang". They put all the mustangs ontrack together and I was sitting on the pitwall right near the exit. This Blue and White Mustang launched, vroooom (in a V8 351 Windsor Voice ofcourse), then pshhhhh. Oh baby! By the way it drove it seemed Turbo but i guess could of been Supercharged but boy did this thing nail. 3/4 of the way down the put straight it was still sreaming its ass off, would pull 4th and kick sideways again, the thing looked great. The driver did look like he needed huge arms, by the amount of times the wheel would go from lock to lock.
I getting the 2.5 rolls of film developed this week, will post em soon. Stay tuned....
I also have piccy's from the recent hot rod show at Brisbane RNA showgrounds, Car Meet at McClanes bridge at Jimboomba (nice Sierra and Lotus Carleton) if any one wants pic's.

That car is owned by Marty White (of John White Racing Engines) and is powered by a twin-turbo, stroked 351 Windsor. I think he was originally aiming for 406 cubes but I am not sure if this is how the engine turned out.
It certainly does not have any shortage of poke - I will not forget the sight of it wheel-spinning down the straight any time soon!
indeed, was truly a beautiful car, was just pared in put lane before hand so everyone could walk up and dribble on it. on track, they cruized it. gave it a bit of stick on the straight but i wouldnt say giving it what for.
should have me pics today. will post em tonight / tomorrow
