This must be where it all starts

My boss owns a VP GTS and so is subscribed to the HSV magasine "Excelerate".

I was flicking through the latest and came across this article.

This must be where all the brainwashing starts.

Step 1: Use TV ads to convince people to buy the car
step 2: Brainwash them to think everything is as it should be

I wonder if this is why the Gen3 problems went unoticed for so long.

Um yes I'm sure they are -

"The Clubsport isn't perfect - we'd love to try one fitted with Ford's Tremec five-speed, and the ride could be softened a little - but where the GT is red hot this HSV is smoking."

Motor Magazine - May 2003

Doesn't sound like HSV have anything to quiver about?

The article (it's not an ad paulc) is talking about the way different manufacturers test power output. The HSV method and standard (ECE) is all stated there so what are they hiding or quivering about?

PS - I'm taking your post in jest MADXF, the other schoolkids need to get a grip.
