Heading off from the 'anyone else seen it' thread what was the best looking mutant car you've seen???

I have two, the first one being a mazda that had a VK calais front and rear grafted on. It looked like a stock VK calais but it was a two door with hatch tailgate thing. It also ran a rotary....
My second was a canary yellow RX3 mazda running a very hot 302w, this thing flew.....

At the Summernats a few years ago there was a car that was half XW Falcon and half HT Holden. They chopped the cars length ways. Different.

well the only car that comes to mind would have to be the EB with EL front end at the most recent tickford cruise, and did that thing look sweet!

i've never seen this, but i'd love to do it: get a first series mazda MX6 and put AS telstar panels on it, ie. bonnet, entire front, guards, rear bumper and lights and lastly the hatch. telstar 3 door hatch! that would look so sweet!

One I've seen in Sydneys west is a red convertable that apears to be a Z3, but is infact an MX5 with the front and rear ends changed to Z3 bits. The doors and interior are all MX5.

Seems like there are a few mutant cars in Sydneys west.

there was a hz ish wagon at the summernats a few years back that some one had totally reversed the floorpan and chassis.

the drivers seat was where the back seat used to be but backwards. there were headlights grafted into the tail lights and vice-versa. the engine was in the back wagon bit and the driver could look over the dash and see it.

he also had a trailer that was a front and back end of a sedan grafted together and fixed to an a frame, backwards, of course.

a hell of a lot of work for a car you can't register, but very cool to check out.:oo1: :crazy1: :oo1:

Actually another good one i've seen that was in street machine a while back now was a one seater (may have even been two) half width mustang!!! If i can find the mag i may show pic...
