My car was stolen this morning...

Hey guys,

I see so many posts about peoples beloved Ford's being flogged from under there noses and it hurts everytime I read one to hear about another fanastic vehicle being taken without consent.

This time it happened to me.
My stock standard canary yellow 1985 Falcon with nothing particular but a Fairland LSD, sun bleached P plates, bent towbar and a Rave sticker.

This is the big difference between my story and the rest of yours...
You have well looked after cars. Nice EB's, EL's, AuII's and III's with a flashy paint job, roaring Henry(V8), mags and exhaust.

And while I love my car to bits.. It pales in insignificance compared to the nicer Blue Oval's cruisin our streets.

doesnt matter what car it is or what condition, no one deserves to have their car stolen, and these low lifes should be strung up and tortured.
It's better to remain quiet and let people think you are a fool then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

theifs are the scum of the earth mate and I know exactly what your going through.
I just hope that you find it. Falcons are tough and you should get it back.
In SA you've got a 94% chance of getting your car back within 72hours. (unfortuantly that includes finding char grilled wreaks)
As far as I'm conserned if I ever see anyone stealing anything I'll hunt them down and torture them as if it was my stuff they stole.

It was stolen at CPP Parking in the Perth CBD on RiverSide Drive.
Only hope it comes back..
And if it does its either perfect or completely ruined Its not worth putting it through body work any more. Thats happened too many times in the past.

The car's got a a bit of history..
Its been used in an armed robbery and a ram raid and been stolen four times (five now)
We've still got the newspaper photos of the poor "coon" (Adapted from Falcoon) sitting on the side of the road with the side smashed in and broken glass all over the inside of the car..
It's been through a lot in its time
Hope she's got a few more k's left in her hey?

while its still funny reading how your falcons been through the wars and been in robery's and all, still really bad that it gets stolen none the less.

might be the shittest car in the world, but its YOUR car not somebody elses.....

sorry to hear about your car mate. interesting history though...i assume it wasnt you involved in the ram raid...:oo1:

seriously, i hope you get your car back okay. and i hope the scum that stole it die a slow, lonely and very painful death.
You wash your car like it was your firstborn child, you tend to its needs like it was your own body, you protect it like it's your family, then you drive it like you stole it.

5 TIMES???

Maybe it mite be time to think about investing in an alarm, or even just a kill switch perhaps??

It's got a Kill switch on it...
the last time it was stolen was 97 I think (When the kill switch was put in).
And no.. it wasn't me in the Ram-raid.

We'll see how it goes with getting the XF back and all... If I don't see it again.. I'll go find a nice EBII/ED XR and invest in a nice alarm/immobiliser combo for it
