Went to heathcote on saturday nite the commo boys and decieded to take my xb coupe which is the way it left the factory in 1975 apart from a 500 holley(2 barrell) and a 3.5 borg warner diff everything else is standard.

To my surprise i managed to get the old girl down there in 15.91 @88mph which isnt bad for a car that has a 196000kays original on the clock just goes to show how quick these things where in there day.

Considering the xb gt coupe did the quarter in 16.5

Great stuff Lee, especially considering the track was said to be really bad. I hope you can still make it for June 1!

I didnt find the track to bad considering one of my mates in his 1967 xr did a 12.89@107mph it was good to go to the commo club one and the fastest car there to be a ford:)
