Well our Grange was in for repair, so dad rented a car. It was a Ford BA Falcon XT. I had a drive of it this morning, it was pretty nice! Then it made me go down to the Ford dealership to drive an XR8 manual. Now that was an AWESOME experience! the dealer was in the car and encouraged me to put my foot down! As a non-biased Holden/Ford dude, I rate it higher than the SS

I havn't yet driven the XR8, but I did drive the XR6t and i was impressed! My mate has a turboed skyline so I have driven Skylines before, but the XR6t is TOTALY differnt. There is no turbo lag, and you dont feel the turbo 'spool' up, its constant power, from 2000rpm right through to fuel cut at 5950rpm oops hehe :)

Awsome car, and in Phantom purple it looks great! I prefer the interior styling of the BA over the VY, I think the commodore are too over crowded in the center dash around the stereo.
