My Ford

Hi all,
I wonder if someone who subscribes to "My Ford" could put in the following VIN # MA34PU51318 in their vehicle profile?

As my EBII Fairmont is Australian assembled it will not show up in my profile maybe due to my car being based in NZ?

It does state that only vehicles built after 1992 display the vehicle history (factory). Mine was first reg in July '93 so the Build date maybe the same year.

Thanks in advance

Mick

That VIN is strange, the '34' means its a pre 4/92 Fairmont. But the 'PU' relates to the build date being Feb/93

Try changing the '34' to 'SW', which is what it should be.

Are you sure it was assembles in Australia? The first 2 digits should also be 'JG' (which I think means Australia?)

Thanks Martin, I will try your suggestion. On the Plate where the Vin and paint code is etc it says "Ford Australia" not Ford New Zealand. I will edit the Vin and report back.

Cheers

I tried the SW but no details displayed. Will have another look at the "plate" tomorrow in case I have the numbers wrong.

Call 1800 333 306 and tell them you would like information about your car.

After a few simple questions they will tell you what you want to know.
