A good friend of my came over tonight. I havent seen him in almost 4 years so it's been a bit of fun. Hes a cop in TOG (or whatever it's called now days) and we got to talking about all the stuff he gets up to.
Anyhow amongst other things I asked him what would happen if I got caught doing...say 200kph....in my XR6. Not that I would ever do that .... again :)

$485 fine and bye bye licence for 12 months!!!!

Turns out 25 - 35 over is 1 month loss, 36 - 45 over is 6 months and anything over 45kph is 12 months.
Hmmmm, time to keep well under that I think.

And not to top off an already exceptionally @$%$ed day, I just recieve 2, yes 2, speeding fines. Both from the same camera on the same day just hours apart. I'd only been in Melbourne fro 3 bloody days!

Thank you very much to that bunch of pathetic political, ass sucking, group of #$%^'s that allow this sort of tax collecting bullshit to happen. I hate politicians.

Actually, all I needed were some posted speed limits. I was here 3 days, no signs so I thought it was 60kph. Hell no, it was 50. So I got popped at 58kph ($125) and 61kph ($200 - f'n what!!!!). Heres little old me being the good law abiding citizen and I still go nailed.
Well, if anyone is stuck behind a black XR6 doing 5kph under them limit (which means 45kph if I don't see a posted limit - I don't care if its a god dam 4 lane highway) you'll know who it is!

As for the brick on election day...so very true. Bracks and his left wing, unionised, hidden tax, socialist cronies can go and get......

Screw them.

Btw, thanks for the concern, I'm just blowing off steam.

You forgot one thing mate he has to catch you first. Most sane cops call of the chase once it goes past 180kmph due to dangers to themselves and other road users. I think you may also get a jail term also as far as I know too. Not to mention our roads (apart from a few) are too damn dangerous too those speeds.
Its more fun on a racetrack too atleast there less chance of mangled flesh and bone and you don't become the guest star on the 6'olcock news for all the wrong reasons.
