My New Dream Car

looks as though they are now taking orders for the Moller skycar
http://www.moller.com

If you thought the GT was fast, think again, you will get there much quicker in this....

FUEL CONSUMPTIONL: up to 28mpg (11.85 km per L)
I think thats 8.44L per 100km

SEATS up to 6

TOP SPEED: 500kph

MAXIMUM CEILING HEIGHT: 30,000 ft

They think they can mass produce it for US$60,000 each

Re: My New Dream Car

Great idea until the Koreans start building appliance versions!!!

On a good note, Ricers who deceide to fit big ass wings will be in for one very rude shock!!!

Re: My New Dream Car

Hmm I thought it hadn't actually been tested with flying anything higher than about 30 feet, and only for a couple hundred feet in distance.... ????

Re: My New Dream Car

Its something you could just leave parked in your garage to show off to your mates. "Ferrari - phhft, look at my skycar"

Actually, if they are actually selling some, it would even be worthwhile just buying one as a museum piece; it will probably be worth something oneday.

Re: My New Dream Car

You'd also need the most bitchen stereo to be able to hear the thing over those rediciously loud turbines....

Could only imagine what the dood at DPI would say when you try and take one over the pits
"The only problem I have is the noise, the decibels are through the roof!"
