My Weekend At The GP

Well I got home late yesterday arvo and was glad to sit and relax. Had a very big weekend but definately a great time. Alot of Bourbon was drunk and alot of bbq eaten. I have a very bad case of sun/wind burn but was doing pretty well until Saturday night when i decided to muck around the the dirt bike (little yamaha 125). After a few drinks i was definately not drunk but a little cheery and decided that i was gonna do some jumps over some hills in the paddock near where we camped. Id walked around the area in the day time and there werent any hidden obstacles or anything so i thought i would be ok. Unfortunately due to darkness and bad judgement i mistimed when i thought i was gonna land and didnt get myself ready. Ouch! The common diagnosis was that i had broken both feet when they impacted with the pegs on landing. After some xrays there are no breaks, just alot of bruising along the bones and the underside of my feet and ive torn a ligament in the right one. I spent all day sunday with my feet in the beer esky and have been hobbling around since. All in all it was a great weekend though!

Did anyone else head down?
