Myford.com

Guys,

I heard a mention of "myford.com" in a post by someone else - so i decided to check it out.

http://www.myford.com.au

pretty cool site. havent entered my VIN yet, but just entering the model, KM, and average KM driven daily gives you average servicing dates for your car. theres a few other cool links, so check the site out.

main thing that interested me was the Clubs page - "Fast Ford Performance", a place i used to post before i found the falcon club was listed - so why arent we?? i sae the F-Series club and nearly mistook it for the E-Series for a minute... hehe.

come on jack, im sure you can get us a mention at least - or would we have to be a registered club?

Howdy. Yes I would be most confident approaching them once we are registered. It comes down to a financial question at this stage, and we are still doing well even without being registered. I cannot make promises, but since I am limiting spending on my car for a while, I may be able to shell out the few hundred required. Or if we were all willing to chip in that might be even better. I was supposed to discuss this with OzOrion since he has some experience, but that meeting did not go ahead in the end.

But it will be great when that is done, because there are heaps of directorys for clubs that we could be listed in.

I put in the VIN and other info on the profile page and submitted it, but thats as far as it goes. The VIN info is only available for post-1992 Fords, but I don't get a message about the VIN - whether they don't have the info, whether the info is coming snail mail or email or whatever...

I'll need to research the costs associated at some point. I want to register us as a non-profit organisation, so hopefully our friends in Canberra won't want to profit from us too much

Im also more than happy to put in.

I dont know much about this but ill give it a mention - perhaps you can setup a paypal account or something similar for "Club Funds" which we could donate to via credit card? Itd give you a place to keep Club-related funds too.

Its all getting a bit OT now though, isnt it.... heh!

That's an option. I might even have a word to the good folk from the various Tickford clubs, since they've already long passed this stage.
