need to get insurance for a driving holiday in the US in october. can anyone help out with possible company names to apply with? car is a older muscle car.thanks

Best bet is to look at optioning it into your overall tarvel insurance. Its much cheaper that way.

u cant do it unless u have a home address there, I got my CJ done thru a friend, it cost me 90 dollars for 2 months.

there is insurance for "visiting tourist". There are only two coys that do it . AIG and AIU, not sure if the acronyms are right but they will not insure any muscle/sports car and I think you have to own the car. One of the coys I found on the net and they have the application forms you can download. The otherway if you have an address in US you can get it but I dont think its technically valid if you are a non resident but I might be wrong. Also I heard there is a Aust insurance coy that will insure you overthere, even for rentals, but yet to check this out. I just came back from the US a few day ago.
