I'm really p@##ed at the moment,I have a story to tell you guy's,
It all started about a year ago when I went to a garage sale and noticed a beautifull XW GT Falcon in the owner's shed,now this bloke was a really nice bloke and he showed me his GT,he also worked down the road from my house and I had seen this car drive past many time's (I heard it before I seen it)and then I left, now a year has passed and on Friday night my old man told me that a mate of his know's of a genuine XW GT for sale, for get this $15,000,yes $15,000 and he had the name of the owner to which was the bloke from the garage sale a year ago,I didn't realise it was this bloke until I left home that night and then it clicked it was the car I had looked at that day, so straight away I went over to see this man(Interupting his dinner) and to my surprise he had sold it that day,OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO,I had a little look at it again, just to rub it in, original XW GT late '70 model 351 cleveland with HO head's and header's. 123,000 mile's paint and trim all riggy didge and original,my only concern was it was a auto but still I was to late,but the best thing to come from this is the new owner is the original owner and he plan's to keep her TOTALLY original, which is what I had planned to do as well,oh well just as long as it didn't go to someone who wouldn't look after it,
I nearly had my first GT Falcon.

Nah I think I'll be right mate but if you do hear of a GT Falcon for sale, give me a call will yah,oh the pain.

I really wanted an XY GT but this was just to good to pass up, all be it I was to late but I'll try and be patient.

If your really interested will keep an eye out for you, but have to tell you about all your going to get is a restorer for that money :/

As for wanting an XY, go the XW. More chrome, more character, same mechanicals (Clevo XW)

I own both, and actually prefer my XW to the XY

I know exactly how you feel galaxy XR8.

Several years ago a mate of mine had a XB GT 351 fastback. He got defected so he put it in his backyard and stripped it with the good intentions of rebuilding the car.

Well years past and it just sat there. At least once a week I offered to buy it from him and every week he said no, he has going to rebuild it. I went away to sea for a couple of months and came back there was no car. I asked what he had done with it.

He had finally got sick of it and gave it away! I nearly cried, I also nearly killed the little prick as well!
