hi everyone :D

well a couple of weeks ago i fully rebooted my pc with xp profesional after recovering from a hitpointer virus :(. my computer runs heaps faster now

i didnt know much about backing up...so i just copyed the files from the folers in my program files hahahhaha not realizing that i needed the regestry keys awell.

i lost my keys for office 2000, and photoshop and i dont have the install cd's anymore

these are the files that are in photoshop

when i open photoshop i get this error message, so i havent been photoshoppin for a couple of weeks :(

when i type in regedit in the run dos this is what i get

i lost alot of regestry keys lol dam it

i lost these drivers Universal serial bus (USB) controller, and the Video controller (VGA compatible)

also i noticed that when i add new software xp wont automatically add the drivers

i dont know what type of compute i have as it is custom , but the motherboard is a gigabyte ga-8si mlh i THINK the soundcard is built in.

if any1 could please help me in anyway i would greatly appreciate it :D

how do i get into the repairer? do i have 2 restart my pc then boot from cd?

Get the cd key from your friend again.. he may or may not have it.

If it's only program files that you've lost, just download them again (if you don't know anyone that already has them).

You can always do a search for a ****** for photoshop.. or so I've heard.

As for the USB and VGA drivers, go to Gigabyte's website and download the drivers for your mother board and install them.

I always keep a folder for my installers and burn them to disc, that way when I back up I just need to throw the cd in and install the programs again.
