Need info !!!!

Hay im nearly 16 and i want to know what to get for a grand i was wondering if i should get a Telsta or a Escort (an older ones of course) I was thinkin gemini BUT its not a !!FORD!! is it oh well just getting some advise from older ppl that have drove cars before

Though Jap vehicles are not that popular on f/f. In my opinion you can't beat them.The Mitsi Colt/ Mirage[for example] is a good car one of the first to go front wheel drive in the compact type like the Laser/ Corolla, which are good ones. Only they are worth more. The big thing to look for though is RUST. Jap motors if not thrashed usually just wear out slowly.Pluss a latter model motor can be bought quite cheap if the need be from a Jap importer.If it burns oil it is still drivable but with rust it will be put off the road and nearly imposible to fix.. Old Falcons etc would be too hard on fuel !!
